Scarecrows are everywhere it would seem--lots of them at the craft stores and I'm even seeing homemade ones using old clothes and straw for stuffing popping up around yards! I made a few of those as a kid.If you like scarecrows, they do appear from time to time in vintage decorations such as the napkins above and the Gurley candle below:
