2015 Halloween at Jo-Ann #1
My area Jo-Ann stores have not put out much Halloween just yet - mainly some end of aisle displays until they finish scraping the bottom of the 70+ percent off summer clearance ;-) But I see skeletons and box signs and some of the typical stuff - some fabric too I snapped a few pics of. I would guess they'll be more completely stocked starting mid-August onward.

2014 Halloween at JoAnn #2
More previews of items at JoAnn - I like the JOL, cat, and owl hanging decor/ornaments. I love owls so seeing all the owl items was cool. I though the 3-piece JOL stacking decor--where you can turn each part of the face to create different looks was clever.

2014 Halloween at JoAnn
Here's a preview of a few things I saw at JoAnn this weekend - more to come later. Lots of variety--some with that sort of primitive/country look and then a lot of skeleton stuff too. Lots of owls. I will be going back for some of the black/white ribbon shown below--it's fabulous!

Countdown to Halloween - Oct. 24 - Carving Faux Pumpkins
Bruce sent me some photos of his pumpkin carving on faux pumpkins--from Funkins to those he has purchased at Michael's. The key he says to carving, is to use a hot knife as it will carve like slicing through butter!

Countdown to Halloween - Oct. 12 - Vintage Halloween Images on Fabric
I was at JoAnn today getting some black fabric for some spooky scarecrows and ran across this super piece of Halloween fabric! They had 2 pieces left on the bolt and it was on sale this week, so I took them both. I love the images--vintage postcards, sucker boards, cutouts and more! Great imagery. The name on the fabric was AKO. It would make a great apron and super table cloths and napkins! I'd get some of this if I were you :)

2013 Halloween at JoAnn #3
More fun stuff from JoAnn - the apron above is fun and I like the felted ornament below--but I really like the lollipop sticks below for making cake pops or cupcake picks! They have black glittered skeletons and some Martha stuff--including this window silhouette--creepy! The tube is like those tubes with toy animals/dinos/etc.. but for Halloween so it has plastic Halloween characters--the usual suspects, pumpkin, witch, etc..
Jenn:)
