Some things I spotted in a recent trip to an antique mall. I came home with the Halloween tin and a few New Years noisemakers I found.

Hunting for Vintage Halloween
I was recently traveling in Iowa and went to a small antique shop - in one case I spotted a bit of that fabulous orange/black - but alas already owned these items. Always be in the lookout for Vintage Halloween in antique shops and malls. Other good places to find vintage Halloween are online sources like eBay, Etsy, Bonanza and Ruby Lane.

Halloween Antiquing & Vintage Halloween Collectibles
There's nothing more exciting than spotting some Vintage Halloween when antiquing! I acquired the above postcards on a trip last fall at a used bookstore of all places after turning up empty at several antique malls earlier in the day. Here are some of my paper items - tallys - that I've purchased at eBay in years past.

Halloween Countdown - Oct. 2
Antiquing for Vintage Halloween
I was recently in Ohio and stopped at the Maumee Antique Mall in Maumee, OH - here are some of the things I spotted. I purchased a noisemaker I'll highlight in a future posting.
Check out your local antique malls--you never know what you might find!

Halloween Antiquing
Halloween Antiquing
Today I ventured into an antique mall in Apache Junction, AZ. I was hunting for books but also anything Halloween. I didn't see a lot of items, but the above orange and black vase was intriguing to me. It would go perfectly with Halloween decor due to the colors and the raven (or crow?) style bird. But at $60.00, I passed!
These Halloween candles were a bit sad looking but still neat to spy in a glass case.
This plastic witch head was spotted in another case.
At $59.00, I passed on this noisemaker since I have something similar that I got for less at eBay.
At $38.00, I thought this one was also overpriced. It's a pretty common one to find at eBay for less.
What do you typically find in your travels at antique malls?
Jenn:)
