Country Sampler September 2011 Issue

The first fall magazine to hit the stands that I've found is the September issue of Country Sampler. It was a little disappointing as far as Halloween goes--not much in there. More fall than anything--and only 1 vintage item that I could find featured on page 8. It's an old-time cracker featured in the Antiques Q' and A' section that someone put either a scrap item or gummed seal onto of a cat. Value is given by Claire Lavin who wrote 2 collecting guides, Time for Halloween Decorations and also Timeless Halloween Collectibles about the Beistle decorations from 1920-1949. You can check out these publications at this page of our website.
