Vintage Halloween eBay Spotlight - Dennison Bogie Book

This vintage Dennison's Bogie Book from 1919 sold recently at eBay for $144.29. Condition was not perfect with quite a bit of cover wear.

2014 Halloween at Victorian Trading

Victorian Trading has some neat stuff for Halloween-very vintage style or using vintage images. I liked the "tissue noir" shown above - great for a guest bathroom during a Halloween party. Also like the skull bottle opener and the mummy!

Yankee Candle has some cute Boney Bunch and other Halloween decor in stock this year. Some of the Boney Bunch is already sold out though--like the Boney fisherman below. The crow above is cool. Check them out online and in stores.

2014 at Michaels #2

Michaels has all their Halloween out now and so I have taken a few more pictures of the spooky variety you can find. I like the glittered vintage style keys above. The Halloween nutcrackers are fun. I bought a similar witch light up at Home Goods last year but I like the style of this one as well. Lots of crafty stuff too--including the styrofoam heads--which could be used to make ghosts like these from Martha Stewart Living.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

2014 Halloween at Cracker Barrel

Cracker Barrel has a variety of Halloween decorations and gift items out--including some of the items shown here--the pumpkin and witch figures and the neat under $2 bag you can cart it all away in :) Also the glitter skulls and the creepy suitcase--it has a creeper lurking in it when activated ;)

 

 

 

 

2014 Halloween at Williams-Sonoma

Ronda at Old-Fashion Halloween profiled the launch of the Halloween 2014 at Williams-Sonoma - so I checked it out. It's going to be creepy-fun - check out the skull bottle opener, the creepy plates, molds, and towels. I especially like the skull bottle opener.

 

 

 

2014 Halloween at Sur La Table

3 items caught my eye at Sur La Table this year for their Halloween line - the spider/web apron set, the black cake stands--great for party treats too, and the bat treat container.

 

2014 Halloween at Michael's #1

Michaels is already putting out some Halloween stuff - I took pictures of everything pictured here a week and a half ago - so I'm sure more is now out--need to visit again :) In the beads/jewelry making aisles they have some Halloween pendants and other items you can make stuff with. Lots of skull items and candles/candle holders. They were also starting to put out the craft items like wood items and paper mache. There some end of aisle displays with a few signs and decoratives. Festive ribbon too.

Also check out the summer clearance--there's lots of orange including these owl planters shown below--plus orange glassware and pottery items you could use to decorate or make things with.
