Check out these items at Pottery Barn Kids - neat mercury-glass looking jack o' lanterns, the bat chandelier and the paper mache cat and pumpkin treat holders. I especially like the bat chandelier.

Did I mention, I also need a few cages for this year's theme?

Spotted at Kirkland's online are some new Halloween items for 2014 - including these 4 - the pre-lit witch hazel poison bottle, 2 lanterns, and the canvas print featuring trick or treating silhouettes.

Just published is Mark Ledenbach's 2014 3rd edition of his Vintage Halloween Collectibles guide! With 301 pages in this edition and over 600 new items, this is a must-have for Vintage Halloween collectors. Illustrations and the design and layout of the guide was done by artist Matthew Kirscht.

The photography, the scarcity index and the manufacturer information are all superb.

Here are a few sample images from some of the inside pages to whet your appetite--you can purchase the book at Amazon or order directly through Mark at his website--both limited edition hardcovers and softcover editions are available. I recommend both--one to keep minty and one to "play" with :)
