Were I just there a couple of weeks later than I was, but I bet the Halloween celebration at the Ford Museum's Greenfield Village in Dearborn, MI is lots of fun! I had to take a picture of this sign advertising their upcoming Halloween celebration as it reminded me of the old Dennison Bogie Halloween Party Books.

This coveted Beistle lantern, which has been reproduced by Beistle this year by using the imagery on various Halloween decorations, is very coveted by collectors! This particular one sold at eBay for $1009.00. I would love to see Beistle reproduce the lantern itself next year!

I've seen some Halloween postcards sell into the hundreds, while many average and used ones typically sell for $10.00 to $25.00+. More unique styles and coveted artists will sell higher. But this one sold for quite a pretty penny! This unused card ended at $835.00! Unused cards are not easy to come by like this one.
