Vintage Halloween eBay Spotlight - Luminous Spirit Fortunes Game

Sold at eBay recently for $72.99, this Fortunes By The Luminous Spirit game was one I hadn't seen too many times in recent months--in fact I haven't seen a lot of games coming up for sale over the summer--but I always look forward to the plethora that seem to pop up starting in September in time for Halloween.

Halloween Collection Spotlight on Martha Stewart Living Shows

Martha Stewart has featured in the past some Halloween collectors on her former shows and their collections of vintage Halloween. Here's one video featuring the Bob Murch Collection:

2014 Halloween at Barnes & Noble

Some cute Halloween items at Barnes & Noble - cute felt jack o' lantern bag - liked the gift bag/tag set. In the cafe--frosted cookies and mugs in various fall animal themes--seeing more and more foxes this year too plus owls which are very popular!

2014 Halloween at Target #2

More goodies at Target - the carved pumpkins have expanded in styles to even tall pumpkins in 3 colors - seeing more styles of carved pumpkins this season. The raven skeleton and the owl lantern went home with me.....

Cottages & Bungalows Oct./Nov. 2014 Magazine

The Oct./Nov. issue of Cottages & Bungalows features a lot of Autumn stylings and some Halloween content too - including the listing of "Spooky Chic" which features our Beistle Lantern Garland you can purchase at The Vintage Halloween Website Store.

Also featured are some no carve pumpkin ideas like the "eek" witch pumpkin below - liked the idea of placing something in front of an empty frame in the middle of a display.

Woman's Day October 2014 Magazine

Woman's Day used to have a special Halloween issue but they haven't in a couple of years now. They do include a few Halloween ideas in this issue including some front porch decorating ideas - I like the green "ooze/slim" effect on the steps below and the squash turned into ghostly jack o' lanterns.

Woman's World Celebrate 2014 Autumn Issue

The Woman's World Celebrate special issue this year is an Autumn theme so there's both Halloween and autumn themes in it. It caters especially to kid friendly recipes and crafts but here are 2 things I liked - using the peep style marshmallows for swizzle sticks and the candy corn blondies--love candy corn!
